Steps Involved

  • Choose an Authorized Agency:

Select a local travel agent approved by the Singapore High Commission to act on your behalf, as they are authorized to submit the application.

  • Complete the Application Forms:

Fill out and sign the official Form 14A (Visa Application Form) and the Form B39A.

  • Gather Required Documents:

Passport: Original passport with at least six months of validity from the date of entry.

Photographs: Two recent passport-sized color photographs taken within the last three months.

Travel Itinerary: Confirmed return flight tickets and hotel reservations.

Financial Proof: A bank statement for the last six months with a bank seal.

Covering Letter: A letter from the applicant explaining the purpose of the visit and providing travel details.

  • Submit Documents to the Agent:

Submit the completed forms and all supporting documents to your chosen authorized agent.

  • Pay the Visa Fee:

Make the necessary payment for the visa fee and any agent processing charges.

  • Receive and Use Your E-Visa:

Once approved, the agent will provide you with the e-visa, which is an electronic printout. You will need to present this printout at the airport.

    Form 14A: The visa application form, which must be accurately filled and signed.

    Photographs: Two recent passport-sized color photographs taken within the last three months, with a white background.

    Cover letter: A personal covering letter explaining the purpose of your trip, dates of travel, and itinerary.

    Flight and accommodation: Confirmed return flight tickets and proof of accommodation (hotel bookings).

    Proof of funds: Bank statements for the last six months to demonstrate sufficient funds.

    Additional documents based on your profile:

    Employed: Last three months’ salary slips and a company leave letter.

    Self-employed: Business registration license or partnership deed.

    Student: Student ID card and a letter from your educational institution.

    Minor: A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from parents or a non-accompanying parent.

    Letter of Introduction (Form V39A): Required if you are visiting friends or relatives. This must be issued by a Singapore citizen or permanent resident acting as your local contact.

After receiving your e-visa;

  • SG Arrival Card: Before your flight, you must submit an electronic health declaration using the SG Arrival Card online via the official Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) portal.
  • Immigration check: Upon arrival in Singapore, you will need to present your passport, e-visa printout, and confirmed return flight tickets to the ICA officer. The final decision on your entry and the duration of your stay rests with the immigration officer.
  • Visit Pass (e-Pass): If entry is granted, you will receive a digital Visit Pass (e-Pass) via email. This replaces the old passport endorsement and specifies the duration of your stay.
